I have a Uberti 1873 Cattleman Birdshead revolver for sale. This is a replica of the 1873 Colt Single Action Army (aka Peacemaker) revolver. It is chambered for .45 Colt (aka .45 Long Colt). This revolver has fewer than 200rds through it, and it shoots and functions very well. The frame is case hardened, and the barrel and cylinder are blued. It has hardwood grips in the "birds head" contour, which feels very nice in the hand. Mechanically speaking, this gun is one of the most faithful reproductions of the Colt SAA available, but the metal used in its construction is strong enough for modern smokeless loads. I've only used gentle "cowboy" loads in it, but it should be just fine with any standard pressure load.
I bought this revolver NEW and intended to get involved in CAS/SASS events, but I never got around to doing it. It's a joy to shoot, but I never get the chance to take her out and have fun with her, since my range time is limited these days.
Included in sale:
Revolver with original box
Leather gun belt with cartridge loops suitable for .45/.44-40
These retail for about $500. I am asking $350 OBO for this one. I prefer to sell face to face to a GFL holder. If you do not have a GFL, then I will only deal with you if you contact a local dealer and arrange an FFL transfer yourself.
